Assaba Environmental Monitor

A hackathon project for the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). The dashboard visualizes 14 years of environmental data across five districts in Mauritania: precipitation from 26 weather stations, population density trends, MODIS satellite land cover classification, and vegetation productivity (GPP). Built with Next.js 15 and Python/GDAL for geospatial processing, with multi-language support.
